Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using NovelReader. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Description of Service

NovelReader provides English translations of Chinese web novels for personal reading enjoyment. We offer a selection of free chapters, with the option to purchase permanent access to the complete content of a book via a one-time payment.

2. Accounts

To access chapters beyond the free preview, you must sign in using your Google account. By signing in, you authorize us to receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

3. Purchases and Payment

Certain content requires a one-time payment to unlock permanent access. Payments are processed securely by PayPal. By completing a purchase you agree to the following:

        No Refund Policy. All purchases are for digital content that is
        delivered and accessible immediately upon successful payment. Because access is
        granted instantly and cannot be "returned," all sales are final and
        non-refundable. Please ensure you wish to purchase before completing
        checkout. If you experience a technical issue preventing access after a confirmed
        payment, please contact us and we will resolve it promptly.

A confirmed purchase grants you lifetime access to the purchased content for personal use on any of your devices.
We reserve the right to change pricing for future purchases; existing purchases are not affected.

The original Chinese novels are the property of their respective authors and publishers. The English translations and all website design, code, and graphics are the property of NovelReader. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of translations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NovelReader shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or service interruptions. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing any other remedy.
